In  recent years it has become increasingly difficult to easily describe my work. Currently focusing on  the fusion of both traditional and digital media, I often find myself working in bursts of creative energy  that are borne from days, weeks or months of research and contemplation of a new piece of work or process.

Often gaining creative energy from the stunning natural world that surrounds me on a daily basis in the Rocky Mountain High Country of Central Colorado, and drawing from the many memories / experiences of life (especially those spent living abroad), 

My photography is largely focused on the special moment in time, or the daily event in the natural world that is often overlooked. Freeing myself from the restrictions of documentary style work, I allow the image to develop itself in the printing process to express my emotions both at the time of capture and the reflection of time.

Taking this thought process to the next level, and my desire to fully explore and express my world view, my work is steadily moving towards the abstract through the use of a variety of mixed media techniques.
